Good place for lunch, i liked the fish with seafood sauce. They sometimes have curanto, but out of the season only on weekends and if there's enough people. So best to call on the day before 1pm and ask them if they have it on the day.

21 kilometres from Ancud, this colourful place has a lovely and homely restaurant. Was just the right choice for a lunch with family, we enjoyed a very generous Paila marina with empanadas (meat and seafood) and of course a traditional pisco sour.Highly recommended

Great place to try authentic curanto. Best to stop in the afternoon and let them know how many you will have so they can be ready with everything. Food and ambiance we're excellent.

Excellent food, very fresh and well prepared seafood. Variety on the menu also for carnivores and children who don't eat as much seafood. Very good attention.

Simple place, a typically old Chilote house, with the best ingredients from the sea, with careful and traditional preparation that make the experience extraordinary. The luxury here is seafood, which cannot be found anywhere in terms of quality and freshness. They also offer dishes for children, various empanadas, and crab chupe. It is recommended to reserve early or the day before, especially to secure the curanto plate, which could sell out.

We stopped randomly returning from Fort San Miguel. We wanted to eat a typical Chilote dish, and in this roadside restaurant, we tasted a Curanto al Hoyo. It contains mussels, clams, pork, chicken, bacon, and two native specialties with native names that I don't remember, one tasting like pasta, and the other reminiscent of bread. The particularity of the dish's poti poti is that it is cooked underground with firewood and charcoal and covered with branches and leaves...
